Care
Three ways I work alongside your oncology care
I choose among them at each visit, depending on your blood counts, your energy and your treatment dates. You can say no to any of it.
Acupuncture
A few fine, single-use needles, placed shallowly, while you rest. I use fewer needles and shorter sessions than I would for someone not in treatment.
About acupunctureAcupressure
Firm, steady touch on points of the hands, feet, ears and shoulders. No needles, so it suits days when your counts are low or needles feel like too much.
About acupressureEar seeds
Tiny seeds taped to points on the ear, which you press gently between visits. They stay on for a few days and come off easily.
About ear seeds
What I don't offer
I don't offer cupping, moxibustion or herbs during treatment, and I don't use electrical stimulation on anyone with an implanted device. Smoke, scent and heat can bother people in treatment, and herbs can interact with your oncology team's medicines. If you take herbs or supplements already, bring a list of everything you take and I will go through it with you.
Not sure what suits you?
Call or write and we can talk it through before you book.
